I was surprised by this book. I was looking for something out of my normal and decided to read this. This book took the time to develop the main characters and I ended up getting enveloped with the story. I'm not completely familiar with the era, so some things I had to learn through context, but it was there. I wasn't the happiest with the ending, but that's because I tend to like stand alone books that kind of wrap things up. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series none the less.Product details
